For my nature walk this week, I chose to explore Cadboro Bay Beach. I drove to the University of Victoria and walked to the beach from there. The weather was a bit cold but the sun was out, so the view once I got to the beach was beautiful! I love Cadboro Bay Beach and since I I do not get to go very often, it was a fun little adventure. The walk down to the beach was pretty easy; however, walking back up was a little more of a challenge since it was all uphill! Overall, it was a fun nature exploration and I look forward to returning soon (hopefully when the weather is a bit warmer!).

 

My rating of my walk: 8/10

  • The beach was beautiful and the view was amazing!
  • The walk to the beach was relaxing (just a little more challenging on the way back).

 

P.S. I was exploring some editing options in PowerPoint with the photo I took at the beach. I added some text to the photo and added an “artistic effect,” which transformed the photo to look almost as though it is a painting (look at the feature image of this post to see the editing effects)! I love the effect this gave the picture and it was fun exploring the different options on PowerPoint!
