The weather this past week was a mix of snow, rain, and clouds. So, there wasn’t too much sun and as a result, I was not too inspired to go on a long walk. However, I did go to the Esquimalt Lagoon to take a quick walk along the beach. I love Esquimalt Lagoon and I visit it quite regularly. Even though the weather was cloudy, the view of the ocean was still beautiful! On the other side of the road, across from the ocean, there were a lot of loons, mallard ducks, and some geese. This was fun to see and it was a nice addition to the walk! Overall, I enjoyed my quick nature walk, as it was a great escape from the busyness of school!
